My name is Candise Brown and I am the SHINE® Director at Aston Gardens At The Courtyards. I have been the SHINE®/Memory Care Director here for almost 22 years. Coming to work each day is like spending time with family. I am truly blessed to work with a group of awesome people.
Maria Perez
Celebrations Director
My name is Maria Perez and I am the Celebrations Director at Aston Gardens At The Courtyards. I enjoy keeping residents happy, active and engaged. I implement and monitor recreation and wellness programs to meet the specific interests of all residents. I also coordinate outings and events for residents, social events, themed parties, educational programs, fitness classes, day trips to unique local places, restaurants, theaters, and much more. I have been at The Courtyards for over 27 years and enjoy working with our residents. I love going to the beach and enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren.
Christopher Heflin
Culinary Director
My name is Christopher Heflin and I am the Culinary Director at Aston Gardens At The Courtyards. I have 25 years of experience in the Culinary and Hospitality business. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Hospitality Management. I was born and raised in Bradenton, Florida. I’ve worked for Aston Gardens for 8 years. When I’m away from work I enjoy spending time at the beach or on the water or with my family and my 3 kids.
