Paul Markowitz

Executive Director

Paul has over 25 years’ experience as Executive Director and Regional Director of Operations, directing, supporting and supervising Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent living communities across South Florida. In this capacity he has been responsible for implementing strategic plans and evaluations, establishing operational standards, procedures and regulatory compliance. He has worked closely with directors and executives to establish policies and procedures, organizational standards, audit tools and expectations for Florida Assisted living divisions, ensuring regulatory compliance through site visits and audits. He has trained associates according to State regulations and corporate policies, coaching and mentoring key community leaders to empower them and their communities to be successful. Assisting them to create a vision and road map to capitalize on individual leadership strengths and increase staff retention while delivering outstanding resident care. Paul is also an Assisted Living Facility Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Training Provider. Paul was appointed to serve on State Representative Emily Slosberg and Congresswoman Lois Frankel’s Hurricane Task Force, along with other select industry leaders and state and local government representatives. He also served as Sponsorship Chair for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Boca Raton.

Albert Price was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a former Presidential White House Guard with the U.S. Marine Corps. Albert has 7 daughters and 4 granddaughters. His hobbies include Bass fishing and watching horse racing.

Allyson Katz, the Director of Celebrations at Aston Gardens at Parkland Commons, has worked with seniors for almost nineteen years. A graduate of Ramapo College, in New Jersey with a degree in psychology, Allyson relocated to Florida to be closer to family and one month later, started her career at Aston Gardens.
She is passionate about her work and loves working with residents and their families. Her approach to programming is to schedule and conduct activities that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual opportunities to engage the residents. In her spare time, Allyson enjoys spending time with her husband and two wonderful children.

Rick Gomez

Director of Housekeeping

Rick lives in Boynton Beach with his wife and two daughters, ages 13 and 24. When he is not working, his hobbies include mountain bike riding, fishing, and camping with the family. He grew up in Puerto Rico and attended classes at Civil Engineering at Politecnica de Puerto Rico.  He moved to Florida in 1994. His 20 years in the industry began at a Nursing rehab center as a floor tech in 1994 with a contract housekeeping cleaning company.
